Portikus Kunsthalle

The Portikus is an exhibition space for contemporary art and is named after the surviving portico of municipal library which was founded in 1825 and destroyed in World War II. It exhibits renowned artists’ latest works as well as young international artists of some importance. The Portikus is part of the state college of visual arts, thus providing students with the opportunity to establish contacts with the exhibited artists.
